What We Do
MyAIRA is an international collaboration platform based in Malaysia, nurturing all related ecosystems through:
- Providing a collective platform for expressing common industry concerns in promoting robotics, digital workforce, unmanned vehicles, artificial and autonomous intelligence.
- Promoting R&D in autonomous intelligence, all forms of robotics, digital human workforce augmentation, unmanned vehicles and cybersecurity while giving a consultative voice in technical solutions and services in relevant industries.
- Promoting and organizing trade missions, trade events, exhibitions, conferences, virtual events and webinars to accelerate global trade and collaboration with industry associations globally.
- Promoting awareness and education of AI in educational institutions and to the public at large.

Malaysia’s AI & Robotics Ecosystem
Malaysia is one of the emerging countries in the field of AI and robotics, with a vibrant and diverse ecosystem that includes government agencies, academic institutions, industry players, and startups. The country has been investing in developing its human capital, infrastructure, and policies to support the growth and innovation of AI and robotics applications across various sectors, such as healthcare, education, agriculture, manufacturing, and services. Some of the notable initiatives and achievements in the AI and robotics ecosystem in Malaysia are:
– The establishment of the National Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Council (NAIRC) in 2020, which serves as the coordinating body for the development and implementation of the National AI and Robotics Framework (NAIRF). The NAIRF aims to provide a strategic direction and roadmap for AI and robotics development in Malaysia, aligned with the national vision of Shared Prosperity 2030.
– The launch of the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint (MyDIGITAL) in 2021, which outlines the strategies and initiatives to transform Malaysia into a digitally-driven, high-income nation and a regional leader in the digital economy. One of the key pillars of MyDIGITAL is to accelerate the adoption and innovation of emerging technologies, such as AI and robotics, to enhance productivity, competitiveness, and social well-being.
– The establishment of the Malaysia Centre for Artificial Intelligence (MyCAI) in 2021, which serves as a hub for AI research, development, innovation, and commercialization. MyCAI collaborates with local and international partners from academia, industry, and government to conduct cutting-edge AI research and projects that address national and global challenges.
– The formation of the Malaysian Autonomous Intelligence & Robotics Association in 2021, which is a professional body that promotes the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and skills in robotics and automation among its members and the public. MyAIRA organizes various activities and events, such as workshops, seminars, competitions, exhibitions, and conferences, to foster networking and collaboration among the robotics and automation community in Malaysia.
– The emergence of various AI and robotics startups that are developing innovative solutions for various domains and markets.
