Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Dattel Asia Group have launched the MyDataHub.Ai platform to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) gain access to RM150 million in financing.
In addition to access to financing options, MyDataHub.Ai also allows the exchange of data and strategies, encouraging SMEs to adopt digitalisation and artificial intelligence (AI) strategies.
“By leveraging the power of AI and data, we believe that businesses can gain valuable insights into optimising their marketing strategies and enhance their competitive edge,” said MDEC CEO Mahadhir Aziz.
Currently financing companies Choco Up, Jenfi, Funding Societies and Du-itX have collectively allocated RM150 million to support financing initiatives, said Mahadhir.
At present, Easystore and Desamall have joined as digital partners. Plans are underway to include marketplaces such as Lazada, Shopee and TikTok as well.
Meanwhile, the REV Media Network (Media Prima), Unifi Business and MGID have joined as marketing partners.
Mahadhir said Meta and TikTok will be included in the ranks in the near future. Via partners, SMEs can use the data from these platforms to target and discover new audiences.
“MyDataHub.Ai platform was built in alignment with the National Data Sharing Policy to ensure that businesses can benefit from the data sharing process. Finance and marketing services are just the beginning of what MyDataHub.ai offers. I hope we can expand both the services and service providers through more collaborations,” said Mahadhir.
The platform is free to join, but access to premium services will incur additional fees.
